Aside from being an artist, I’m also a Creative Director/Art Director. I’ve worked client-side with Meow Wolf and JP Morgan Chase. The most recent advertising agencies I’ve freelanced at include Droga5, Wieden+Kennedy (Portland), Johannes Leonardo, and R/GA, but I've also helped at shops nationwide such as KBS, Co: Collective, GSD&M and a few other small shops, big shops, and whatever falls in between. Meow Wolf: Grapevine

For the launch of Meow Wolf’s 4th location in Grapevine, Texas, we partnered with Austin-based advertising agency, Preacher, to create a 360º integrated campaign that included film, OOH, print, and a couple experiential pieces.

To tease the launch, we created a fake wellness brand called Laernü (unreal spelled backwards). This involved an installation outside of the Meow Wolf location in Grapevine Mills Mall as well as a partnership with influencer, Aiden Arata, to increase awareness via intriguing social posts.

In addition to the Laernü teaser campaign, we also featured our mall walkers in various performance/stunts throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area to drive brand awareness.

JET.com: JetSpree

Online retailer Jet.com made its online debut with a responsive social campaign that played off the items in actual shopper's carts. 53 videos were written, shot, edited and shipped in one day.

The #JetSpree effort enlisted a buttoned-up spokesman, double dutch jumpers, a comedy troupe, barber shop quartet (and more) to create stories on the fly about shoppers' various product purchases.

Hamburger Hummus

A fictional comedic web series aimed at millennials. Six American bloggers visit Israel for Blogocon, a conference for bloggers. Starring Jillian Bell and Angela Kinsey.

Via the live site, users had the ability to peruse each character's social feeds at hamburgerhummus.com.

Here’s a couple one-off print ads I’ve done as a Creative Director at Meow Wolf.

To keep readers interested, we created an evergreen print ad with maximal illustration inspired by Where’s Waldo and MAD Magazine.

We partnered with the Denver Post to create Meow Wolf’s first ever scratch n’ sniff print ad. That’s right, the top corner of the Denver Post was sniffable with a scent encapsulating a nonsense smell inspired by the illustration—a tantalizing combo of bubble gum, campfire, and suntan lotion. Once readers opened up the paper, they were surprised with an optical illusion and long-form editorial explaining the confusing fun behind the ad.

Etrade makes the colorful lingo of the finance world digestible with this whimsical series of animated videos.

American Student Assistance

A short horror film to bring awareness to young adults regarding the dangers of student debt.

American Student Assistance is a private nonprofit whose public purpose mission is to help students and alumni manage and repay their college loan debt. SALT is an online resource (provided by ASA) offering free, innovative web-based tools and trusted, neutral advice to students and alumni nationwide.

Meow Wolf: Miniverse

The Miniverse campaign mission was to help the post-covid recovery of small, local Santa Fe businesses and artists by inspiring a closer look at what makes them special. We introduced a new dimension where small and miniature wonders appeared in unlikely places, a reminder of the power of unique experiences, no matter how small.

The campaign launched with a video and OOH ads. Throughout the campaign run, visitors were invited to explore the Miniverse at various businesses around Santa Fe and view the new Miniverse diorama within Meow Wolf Santa Fe’s House of Eternal Return.

For the 2013 holiday season, in lieu of a typical card, we decided to give a super helpful way to get your Secret Santa gifts done this year (and, simultaneously, clear the agency of its unnecessary crap). Pinterest helped us pull this off. To get or give a gift, all you had to do was click on what you liked, and fill out an order form with the name and info of your recipient.

MiO Energy

To promote MiO's energy drink, we linked up with former Swedish House Mafia member, Steve Angello. For the first time ever, users had the opportunity to unlock an unreleased track via Instagram. After the song was unlocked, a interactive music video was released that also showcased the Instagram photos.

Founded in 1991 by the Southern Poverty Law Center, Tolerance.org is dedicated to reducing prejudice. Wild postings and magazine inserts were used to draw attention to common prejudice words and icons that are often overlooked.
